It’s a slow time of the year right now for Marquette basketball, so sometimes throwing up a few highlights of a former player is what passes for content. It may not be terribly informing, but my goodness, was it fun to watch, particularly if you were a Bulls fan.
Jimmy Butler scored 31 points, a new high for him in the postseason, with 14 coming in the fourth quarter when his team needed it most. It’s not a coming out party, per-se, as he was already an All-Star this year, but doing this in a nationally televised playoff game will definitely help the contract cause.
