I like to add some context to data heavy posts, and it’s in the process. But in the meantime, feel free to explore the Big East’s TV ratings from the 2022 season on your own.
Before you bring out the pitchforks that games are missing, be aware that the only publicly available ratings repository (Showbuzz Daily) only includes games that surpassed 200K viewers and were on channels that are tracked (not CBSSports). So as you’ll see, that excludes over 2/3s of the conference’s games.
The dashboard is interactive, so feel free to play around with the filters as well as the individual team tabs in the Google Studio environment. It is also responsive, so clicking on individual games will also change the full page worth of data.
