Big East Tournament Seeding Scenarios

The end of the Big East season is nigh, but this week promises to be filled with intrigue. So I tried and help decipher what scenarios will put Marquette where.

MU can still finish as high as 5th and as low as 6th, but there are a lot of options about who they play and when. (Feel free to reach out if I may have butchered any portion.)

If MU Goes 1-1 (11-8)

5 Seed: Creighton goes 2-0 – MU plays UConn on Thu at 2:30pm ET
5 Seed: Creighton goes 1-1 beating UConn, UConn goes 0-2 – MU plays UConn on Thu at 2:30pm ET
5 Seed: Creighton goes 1-1 beating UConn, UConn goes 1-1 – MU plays Creighton on Thu at 2:30pm ET

If MU Goes 0-2 (10-9)

5 Seed: Creighton goes 2-0 – MU plays UConn on Thu at 2:30pm ET
5 Seed: Seton Hall loses at least once, Creighton goes 1-1, UConn goes 0-2 – MU plays UConn on Thu at 2:30pm ET
5 Seed: Seton Hall loses at least once, Creighton goes 1-1, UConn goes 1-1 – MU plays Creighton on Thu at 2:30pm ET

6 Seed: Seton Hall goes 2-0, Creighton goes 1-1, UConn goes 1-1 – MU plays Georgetown on Wed at 9:30 pm ET
6 Seed: Seton Hall goes 2-0, Creighton goes 1-1, UConn goes 0-2 – MU plays Georgetown on Wes at 9:30 pm ET
