I don’t post often, and when I do, it’s usually dense, data-driven drivel. But sometimes, particularly in lost seasons, just sitting back and marveling at a masterpiece is all that’s required.
If you missed it last night, Marquette freshman Nigel James had one of the greatest layups you will ever see. That isn’t hyperbole. That isn’t blind homerism. It was the type of thing that made you yell and stand up off your couch in real time. And then make a stink face watching replay after replay. And then wake up thinking about it.
If you haven’t seen it yet, enjoy. If you have, it gets better with every viewing.
