I’ve said it time and again this season, but Duane Wilson was the heart and soul of the defense. That heart and soul will have to find a replacement next year, though. Wilson posted a note on his Snapchat that would be graduating and taking his talents elsewhere.
Duane Wilson was the first Marquette player to publicly reaffirm he would be staying at Marquette following Buzz Williams’ departure. He sat out his first year with the team on a medical redshirt and will have one year of eligibility.
